Hometown: Honeydew, South Africa
Major:Â Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering
Hobbies: I love reading African literature, and writing is a big part of how I process what I take in, whether that’s reflections on what I read or my own creative pieces. I also experience different cultures through music, and I play the marimba myself. When I want to unwind, I go for a run or play the NYT game, Pips!
Future Goals: My spheres of interest lie at the intersection between female healthcare and culturally relevant solutions. That is, creating healthcare solutions that are intentionally designed for the communities they serve. I remain passionate about serving my community through science, and supporting women’s shelters in Nigeria and beyond. I hope to build a career that bridges engineering innovation with community-rooted care, developing health solutions that are practical and scalable while respecting cultural context rather than imposing one-size-fits-all models. This might be through research, industry or even a startup of my own.
